2. Ways to reduce the Cost Per Lead(CPL) on Facebook Ads
Let’s consider one of the example landing page that we have from Volkswagen.

this is the top blocks content on the landing page. Here on this landing page you can observe many things.
- the banner has high quality image and taking more time to load
- there’s no form to fill – so the lead rate is low because the user has to visit another page to fill the form
- there are multiple design elements and images and videos, icons on this page, this reduces page loading speed so it’s very low
The above-mentioned points help you to increase the landing page performance, that will help you to get more leads from your landing page, that helps you to reduce the CPLs on Facebook ads.
Coming to other important factors that can reduce Cost Per Lead on Facebook Ads:
- Set your campaign goal to lead generation – Sometimes you might want to generate more leads without sending the users to your website, because either you don’t have a website or even it is there it has some problems. In that situation, you can use FACEBOOK LEAD GENERATION ADS to generate leads to your business. But you need to add the right questions to qualify the leads at entry level.
- Limit the number of form fields – this will help the users to fill accurate information in less time.
- Narrow your target audience – you can refer to the targetings section there we have layered some audiences with LOAN and CAR FINANCE related targetings to make sure the audiences are narrowed to the maximum extent and could be your potential customers.
- Limit your ad placements – as far as I’ve observed from multiple auto dealership clients, the most worked placements are FACEBOOK NEWSFEED, INSTAGRAM NEWSFEED and STORIES on both platforms. Using Messenger, Audience network, sidebar placements didn’t work and they attract wasteful clicks from the targeted audiences.
- Run Retargeting and LookALike campaigns on Facebook Ads to attract the potential customers for your auto dealership business because that would attract the audiences who are already aware of your brand.
- Try Boosting the organic Facebook posts – Ever tried boosting your posts on Facebook or Instagram for your business? If not then you should do this weekly at least once with the audiences who watched your videos, page followers or people who engaged with your page for your local area audience.
