If you’ve recently started a Online wholesale products website, then this blog post will guide you how to set up the facebook ads campaigns with minimal efforts and give you tips to get maximum number of leads from your facebook ads campaigns.
Step1: Understand the Facebook Ads Structure
There are multiple ways to create a facebook campaign struture. This can be one of the ideal campaign structure that you can follow(this gave me maximum no of results even at higher spends).
Let’s say you have product categories are like:
- Home Decor
- Imitation Jewellery
- Women Fashion
- Furniture
- Accessories etc.
The above screenshot gives you an idea how you could create the campaign structure that doesn’t disturb the performance even after many months and gives you better CPMs. Here you can observe I’ve used one product category for each of the campaign and I’m targeting one particular location or region for each campaign. So the ideal campaign is Campaign1 – Product Category – Location
Naming the campaign is an essential thing while creating it. The name should contain PRODUCT CATEGORY, OBJECTIVE OF THE CAMPAIGN AND LOCATION Name (if your target is to sell worldwide).
Let’s dive deeper into how we can set up the AD SETS in the above structure.

My ideal AD SET Structure would have different targetings which do not overlap with other targetings.
I’ve created total 9 AD SETS, each AD SET will have different types of Interests / Targetings. Here also for each AD SET I’ve followrd naming represents –
PRODUCT CATEGORY-CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVE-TYPE OF TARGETINGS USED – LOCATION
this naming convention would help you figure out which type of targetings are working for your business and what locations are good for your revenue that you can observe without any confusion by just looking at the dashboard.
While creating your ad set, you can follow these necessary steps that will help you to get maxm campaign performance.
In the above screenshot you can select the LEAD METHOD as INSTANT FORMS, once you choose this you’ll get an option to build your own lead form, that can contain – Name, Email, Phone, Location and even you can add any custom questions to qulaify the leads. Once you create and choose the Instant form, next step is to select the Facebook Page.
Now you need to select the DYNAMIC CREATIVE Option, cause that will give you maximum clicks and provide you best performance. Here you can add multiple types of creatives like BANNERS, GIFs, VIDEOS…Facebook will decide to show the best performing ads to the customers that can give you best output for your objectives.
Select the Location, Gender, Age groups and in Detailed Targeting option, choose all relevant targetings apt for your business. For all business types, I’ve given targetings list on this page, please check and add them to your campaigns.
While creating the ads, you come across two options. The first option is you can choose the products from your catalog. Learn how to create catalogs on wordpress/woocommerce in the below video.
You can customize the products appearing on FACEBOOK ADs however you like.
The second option is you can switch of the dynamic creative option at the ad level, you’ll get the chance to add your own images or videos.
Best tips to make your ads better:
- Add atleast 8 images and add atleast 30% of video creatives for every AD
- Add 5 descriptions
- Add 5 headlines
- Choose atleast 2 types of buttons
- Add 5 Primary Texts with necessary Hashtags related to products and brand
Once your’e done with the creatives and Ad Copies, you can add website URL necessarily an UTM URL, Select the right Pixel associated with the website.
